How Did This Start?
In India, people have been poor from generations. From the time, when the parts of India were ruled by the kings, since then till the present day, India has been affected by poverty. There are many reasons of poverty to start in India. People believe that the ancestors started becoming poor mainly because of casteism. I also believe that poverty has increased enormously in the past when wars broke out between rulers which might have influenced peoples' lives. During the British Rule, the Britishers' changed the nation a lot which also had increased the poverty.

- Poverty highly affects the economic condition of the country.
- Because the people are poor, they can’t afford the fees of the schools. So, they lack in education.
- The development of the country suffers a lot. When the people are unemployed, they aren’t able to qualify for jobs, which affects the development of the country.
- It socially affects the people. They are forced to do crimes and robbery for wealth.
